The entire right side of her face is wounded and scared up from the gunshot. Her and her gay best friend come to the consult together and they talk about being successful at a certain age. The first client they take on is a woman who accidentally shot herself at a party. He is willing to change his sneaky and promiscuous ways to become a better father to his newborn son Wilbur. On the other hand, Christian starts to question himself becoming 40 as well. The doctor lets him know that he is in fact anxious and overworked.
Christian suggests Botox but when he absolutely refuses, he goes to see a doctor instead. He feels that everything might go downhill from this point on. Sean is starting to feel anxiety about the way he looks and feels about being 40. Sean McNamara and Christian Troy both turn 40 and the age is starting to concern the both of them. This episode, like every episode, reflects upon their personal lives as well as the surgeries that they have to perform.
I really didn’t like this episode, especially for a season premiere, in my opinion it was pretty weak. Sean McNamara and Christian Troy went through college and medical school together and now their dream of being plastic surgeons have become a reality.
